Forbes.com's Most Trustworthy Companies
Mercury Ranks First Among
Most Trustworthy Mid-Cap Companies
Mercury General Corporation
was recently named one of America's Most Trustworthy Companies
-and first among Most Trustworthy Mid-Cap Companies - in a report
compiled for Forbes.com by Audit Integrity, a financial analytics
company. This is the second year that Audit Integrity surveyed
100 American companies to determine which ones had consistently
released transparent accounting statements and followed conservative
accounting procedures.
The results were published in
a Forbes.com Special Report which ran earlier this year and outlined
the overall findings, as well as the general methodology for
determining the list.
"Mercury is honored to
received an esteemed designation that speaks to our diligence
in maintaining best practices in accounting," said President
and Chief Executive Gabriel Tirador. "It is a privilege
